THE BRIEF
Raf needed a new set of professional headshots for his modelling portfolio that showcased range and personality without over-styling. The brief was to create a minimal, natural look that focused on expression, texture and confidence.
The session took place in a simple white studio setting to keep the focus entirely on Raf. The goal was to produce high-quality, adaptable imagery that could work across casting portfolios, social media, and agency submissions.
THE VISION
The creative direction was stripped back and contemporary. I used a neutral background and soft, even lighting to highlight natural tones and facial detail while keeping the overall atmosphere calm and intentional.
The shoot mixed relaxed poses with more structured frames to capture both commercial versatility and artistic edge. Each image was designed to feel authentic rather than overly posed, showing subtle emotion and natural self-assurance.
THE RESULTS
The final set delivered a cohesive series of headshots that balanced professional polish with a raw, editorial feel. Raf’s natural presence came through across every frame, creating images that were clean, expressive, and true to his character.
The shots have since been used across his modelling portfolio and professional platforms, providing a timeless foundation for his growing creative career.
